Experts see price drop for building materials

According to the National Association of Builders, the price drop was 2.6% for bar steel, 1% for cable, 0.6% for steel pipes and tubes

MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Prices of building materials started declining towards early November, the National Association of Builders (NOSSTROY) told TASS.

"The end of October - the first week of November showed the decline in prices for certain construction materials," Association experts said.

According to the Association, the price drop was 2.6% for bar steel, 1% for cable, 0.6% for steel pipes and tubes, 0.4% for roofing material, 0.15% for PE pipes, and 0.12% for bitumen.

Changes take place in particular because the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Probe opened a series of probes into violations of antimonopoly laws on the basis of monitoring data presented by the Association, experts added.
