Gas price in Europe exceeds $1,650 per 1,000 cubic meters, first time since mid-October

MOSCOW, December 1. /TASS/. The price of gas in Europe climbed above $1,650 per thousand cubic meters during Thursday trading, for the first time since mid-October, according to ICE data. The gas price has increased by almost 4% in total since the start of trading day.

December futures at the TTF hub in the Netherlands rose to $1,666 per thousand cubic meters, or to 154 euro per MWh (on the basis of the current euro exchange rate against the dollar, prices at ICE are in euro per MWh).
