LUGANSK, February 15. /TASS/. The northern part of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) is almost fully controlled by the Russian forces, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS, adding that the southern part of the town is half under Russia’s control.
"Clashes in Chasov Yar are regular, though despite the fact that the enemy is standing fast, <…> almost the whole northern part of the town is under our control: a small portion of houses remains, which our troops are currently clearing from Ukrainian militants. Speaking about the southern part of the town, we control roughly half of it, with advances, confident though small, also in place," he said.
