Russia says battlegroup East struck units from 5 Ukrainian brigades over past day

MOSCOW, February 8. /TASS/. Units of the battlegroup East struck five Ukrainian brigades over the past day, said Alexander Gordeyev, a spokesman for the battlegroup.

"Units of the battlegroup East continue to carry out combat missions in the zone of the special military operation. As part of active operations, units of the battlegroup continued advancing deep into the enemy's defense, inflicted strikes on manpower and equipment to units from three mechanized brigades and two territorial defense brigades in the areas of Razdolnoye, Novy Komar, Otradnoye and Gulyaypolye," he said.

According to the spokesman, the enemy lost up to 140 soldiers, 4 armored fighting vehicles, 5 field artillery guns, 3 motor vehicles, an electronic warfare station, 10 fixed-wing drones and six Baba Yaga drones over the past day.
