Ukraine fails to agree humanitarian corridors towards Russia — Russian Defense Ministry

Mikhail Mizintsev said that Russia had opened humanitarian corridors in the Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov and Mariupol regions

MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Ukraine has not agreed a single humanitarian corridor for civilians to Russia, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on Saturday.

Mizintsev said that Russia had opened humanitarian corridors in the Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov and Mariupol regions: one in each direction to Russia and the other towards Ukraine’s western borders through Kiev-controlled areas.

"Seven more corridors in the Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions have been declared by the Ukrainian side for the current day, of which, as before, none is towards the Russian Federation," Mizintsev said.
