Tehran will not give up on dialogue with Washington, despite US attacks — Pezeshkian

Once the proposals are finalized, the two sides will sit down and sum up the results through mediators, the Iranian president added

TURKMENBASHI /Turkmenistan/, October 9. /TASS/. Tehran will continue to hold talks with Washington, and the two sides have exchanged proposals, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

"We are maintaining dialogue. But every time we hold talks with the United States, it attacks again. Nevertheless, we will not walk away from the negotiating table," Pezeshkian was quoted as saying in a press release posted on his Telegram channel at Thursday’s meeting with Putin on the sidelines of a meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Heads of State Council.

Speaking about the exchange of proposals between Tehran and Washington, the Iranian leader said: "We have revised those proposals." "Once they are finalized, we will sit down and sum up the results through mediators," he added.
