BELGRADE, January 27. /TASS/. Serbia plans to continue cooperation with the European Parliament although it doesn’t share many of its approaches, Serbian First Deouty Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said on Friday.
"We have many differences. The European Parliament is an institute whose resolutions are not binding on European structures. But in any case, it is very important that we react to everything which is untrue in their reports," he said in a statement that was posted on the ministry’s website.
The minister stressed however that despite that, Serbia is committed to its European path.
Earlier, criticism of the EU leadership and its policy was voiced by Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, who said that the equality of the European Union members is an illusion and the EU leaders focus only on money and disregard their partners. He slammed the current EU leadership as the most incompetent in history and called for the resignation of EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell. In his words, European politicians of this generation do not understand the consequences of what they are doing.
