Lavrov discusses key agenda of Greater Eurasia with CICA chief — Russian MFA

The ministry added that the secretary general and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko, in the course of individual consultations, discussed in detail the tasks of intensifying practical cooperation

MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed key issues of the Asian agenda and prospects for unification within the cooperation scope of Greater Eurasia with Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kairat Sarybay, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"The parties considered the key issues on the CICA agenda and the prospects for its development, aiming to further integrate the association into the cooperation field of Greater Eurasia," the ministry pointed out.

It added that the secretary general and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko, in the course of individual consultations, discussed in detail the tasks of intensifying practical cooperation in both the traditional areas of the Meeting's work and new fields, including support for volunteering, ensuring information security, and strengthening industrial and technological ties.
