Yandex’s data center in Vladimir suspended after drone attack

There are no casualties, the company said

MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. Yandex’s data center in Vladimir has been damaged by a drone attack, and its operation suspended, according to the Yandex Cloud Telegram channel for prompt notification of issues with service availability and restoration of their operation.

"As a result of an UAV attack, the infrastructure of Yandex’s data center in Vladimir was damaged. The data center’s operation has been completely suspended. There are no casualties," it said. It is noted that the emergency services are already on site and dealing with the consequences. "We consider the remaining resource configuration to be unstable. The platform’s operating mode is emergency," the company added.
