TASS, July 26. An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude was registered in the region of the South Sandwich Islands located in the southern part of the Atlantic Ocean on Sunday, the US Geological Survey reported.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 kilometers, was at 2,561 kilometers to the east of the Argentine town of Ushuaia, according to the report.
