MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. Russian oil producer Lukoil plans to have the equipment at its Nizhny Novgorod refinery up and running in a month or two, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.
"The work is in progress; relevant equipment is being fabricated and the refinery will be back in business soon. As you know, there was an incident with a turbine; the blades failed. Accordingly, this equipment is being reproduced with work going on constantly. The company plans to have the equipment up and running in one - two months," Novak said.
A January report said that a unit at the Nizhny Novgorod Refinery was temporarily halted due to a technical failure. A catalytic cracking unit went down after one of its compressor parts failed, the Russian technical regulator said.
