BANGKOK, February 20. /TASS/. Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has supported the resumption of direct flights between Bangkok and Moscow.
"The insufficient number of flights reduces the inflow of Russian tourists," he was quoted as saying by the Thai information portal Thaiger. The official stressed that he planned to suggest that the national air carrier Thai Airways resume direct flights between Bangkok and Moscow.
Flights between the capitals of the two countries were launched in 2005. They were performed three times per week. However, direct flights between Bangkok and Moscow were suspended in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
