MOSCOW, March 15. /TASS/. The trade volume between Moscow and Damascus gained 7% as of the end of the last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with President of Syria Bashar Assad.
"Against all odds, our relations are developing, including the economic sphere. The trade turnover growth by 7% was registered over the last year," the Russian leader said.
The 80th anniversary from the day of establishing diplomatic relations between Russia and Syria will be celebrated next year, Putin added.
