10 years ago, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) was established in accordance with the Russian president’s decree of February 20, 2006. The UAC is a Russian holding company comprising about 30 firms in the aircraft industry. It is engaged in the development, manufacture, sale, modernization, warranty and after-sale maintenance and repair of civilian and military aircraft. UAC produces four types of civil aircraft: Sukhoi Superjet 100, Tu-204SM, Il-96-300 and An-148. Military aircraft produced by the UAC are MiG-29, MiG-35, Su-27, Su-30, Su-34, Su-35 and Yak-130.
