Patriot systems to be fair game for Russian army if supplied to Kiev, warns Medvedev

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has warned that Patriot systems and their personnel will become legitimate targets for the Russian army in case they are supplied to Kiev.

"If, as [NATO Secretary General Jens] Stoltenberg has hinted, NATO supplies Patriot systems with NATO personnel to Kiev fanatics, they will immediately become a legitimate target for our armed forces," he wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, adding that he hopes that NATO understands that.

Earlier in the day, Stoltenberg told a news conference after the first day of the NATO ministerial meeting that NATO is discussing the issue of possible supplies of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
