US believes Ukrainian forces to be pushed out of Kursk Region in few months — Bloomberg

According to the report, Ukraine lacks personnel and Kiev has no confidence in further provision of military aid by the West

NEW YORK, December 27. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces could be pushed out of the Kursk Region by the spring of next year, Bloomberg reported citing US officials.

According to the report, Ukraine lacks personnel and Kiev has no confidence in further provision of military aid by the West. The Ukrainian forces have already lost about half of previously occupied territory in the Kursk Region and, probably, will be able to hold the remaining part only until spring, after which they will either retreat or face encirclement, Bloomberg says.

The massive Ukrainian attack on the Kursk Region started on August 6. A federal state of emergency has been declared in the region. Residents of border areas have been evacuated on safe territory.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of fighting on the Kursk Region, the enemy lost over 43,900 servicemen and 255 tanks. The operation on elimination of Ukrainian troops in the region continues.
