Transnistria ready to cooperate with Interpol to investigate terrorist attack in Tiraspol

"All available evidence will be presented to representatives of this international organization," the State Security Ministry said

CHISINAU, March 20. /TASS/. Transnistria is ready to cooperate with Interpol to investigate the terrorist attack in Tiraspol, in which a military helicopter was destroyed by a drone, the State Security Ministry of the unrecognized republic has said.

"The Transnistrian side reserves the right to turn to the international criminal police organization - Interpol - to assist in the investigation of this crime. All available evidence will be presented to representatives of this international organization," the ministry said.

In the meantime, Moldova’s Interior Minister Adrian Efros called the footage of a strike on a military helicopter in Tiraspol, shown by Transnistrian TV channels, a forgery.

"This video is edited. There was no explosion. Specialists will give more details. It was part of a disinformation campaign to trigger panic in society and instability in the region," the ZDG news portal quoted Efros as saying.
