EU has no evidence of Iran providing Russia with ballistic missiles — senior official

According to the diplomat, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will address Tehran on the issue of allocating military aid to Moscow at the EU Council meeting on March 18

BRUSSELS, March 15. /TASS/. The European Union has no evidence that Iran supplied ballistic missiles to Russia, a senior EU official told reporters in Brussels ahead of the EU foreign ministers meeting scheduled for March 18.

"We still have no proof of Iran handing over ballistic missiles to Russia," he said.

According to the diplomat, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will address Tehran on the issue of allocating military aid to Moscow at the EU Council meeting on March 18. "I expect Josep Borrell to send a strong message to Iran, saying, at the very least, ‘do not do this’," he added.

Moscow and Tehran earlier repeatedly rejected all allegations about supplies of Iranian weapons to Russia for their use in Ukraine.
