"On behalf of the army, I can say that we are in constant daily communication with the United States, we have a clear plan of action and understanding of the regional situation. We are cooperating on all these issues. However, ultimately, it is a war fought by the State of Israel, so we are receiving orders from the Israeli government, and the US government realizes that," he told an evening briefing when asked about Washington’s assurances suggesting the resumption of the full-scale operation in the Gaza Strip after the humanitarian pause, which began on Friday morning, ends.
