Saudi Crown Prince involved in Russian-Ukrainian exchange of captives — Foreign Minister

"We are grateful to the Russian side and we will, of course, continue discussing further opportunities to ease the dialogues between the sides [Russia and Ukraine - TASS]," Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud added

MOSCOW, March 9. /TASS/. The operation on exchange of captives between Russia and Ukraine last year took place under personal supervision of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud said at a press conference after talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov Thursday.

"We always seek to provide support in order to achieve the resolution of this crisis [in Ukraine]. We are ready to work with all sides in order to find a peaceful resolution. We have already put forth certain initiatives in the past, the ones involving exchange of captives. This operation went under personal supervision of the Crown Prince," the Foreign Minister said.

"We are grateful to the Russian side and we will, of course, continue discussing further opportunities to ease the dialogues between the sides [Russia and Ukraine - TASS]," he added.
