KIEV, January 29. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture and Information Policy has added five more Russian artists to the list of persons posing a threat to the country’s security, the ministry’s press service informed on Friday.
The ministry informed that earlier, "the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy received letters from Ukraine’s Security Service on including Russian citizens [Olga] Kormukhina, Olga Zasulskaya, Igor Sarukhanov, [Denis] Klyaver and Mark Tishman in the list of individuals posing a threat to national security." "In accordance with the corresponding ordered of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, the Russian artists were included on this list," the message says.
Being put on the Ministry of Culture’s blacklist means a ban for showing concerts, programs, films and TV shows on Ukrainian television with their participation, as well as a travel ban to Ukraine. The ministry did not specify the reasons for such a decision.
On Monday, the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture blacklisted Russian artists Yulia Glebova and Alyona Apina.
Earlier, the Ukrainian government issued a travel ban to over 150 Russian cultural figures, including actor and director Nikita Mikhalkov, singers Alexander Rozenbaum and Lev Leshchenko, architect Zurab Tsereteli.
