Russian skier Bagiyan wins third gold at Paralympics

The Russian Paralympian accompanied by her guide Sergey Sinyakin raced the distance in 43 minutes 59.1 seconds

TESERO /Italy/, March 15. /TASS/. Russian skier Anastasia Bagiyan has won gold at the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games in Italy in women’s 20-km interval start race in the NS1 category (vision impaired).

The Russian Paralympian accompanied by her guide Sergey Sinyakin raced the distance in 43 minutes 59.1 seconds.

For Bagiyan, aged 24, this is the third gold medal at the 2026 Italy Paralympics. She had previously won gold in the sprint event and the 10-km interval start race.
