MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. Russia registers an unprecedented level of Russophobia in many countries, all incidents are being documented, and all perpetrators will be brought to responsibility, Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published Saturday.
"We draw close attention to the unprecedented level of Russophobia, observed in a number of foreign countries amid the special military operation in Ukraine," the Ministry said. "We warn that all such incidents are being documented. Corresponding materials will be handed over to competent agencies for legal assessment, and those responsible will be brought to responsibility in accordance with the current law."
According to the Ministry, the discrimination campaign, enabled or openly approved by governments of certain states has already resulted in mass aggressive actions against Russian nationals and Russian speakers.
"Mass and social media report destruction of stores that sell Russian products in Germany. In some countries, including Germany, Poland and Italy, Russian and Belarusian truck drivers were attacked," the Ministry said. "Numerous cars with Russian license plates were damaged. Hooligans attacked Russian diplomatic missions in Iceland, Ireland, Canada, Lithuanian, Poland, Sweden, Estonia."
