MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will take part in a CIS Council of Foreign Ministers meeting on October 7, Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov said.

"A meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers will be held before the CIS summit. It will take place on October 7, tomorrow, and our foreign minister will take part in the meeting," Ushakov said at a briefing.

He said that two more events will be held on October 7, in which Russia's upper house speaker Valentina Matviyenko will take part.

"The Avaza tourist zone will host international forum The Role of Women in Maintaining Peace and Achieving Sustainable Development and the second international conference Universal Health Coverage and Sustainable Development Goals," Ushakov said.
