Russia says its Marines routing Ukrainian units in Kursk Region village of Gornal

"The Marines are successfully forcing enemy units from key fortified positions in the area of the settlement," the statement reads

MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. A Marine brigade of the battlegroup North is having success driving out Ukrainian troops from key positions in the Kursk Region village of Gornal, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"Servicemen of the 810th Separate Guards Marines Brigade of the battlegroup North continue to carry out battle missions to liberate occupied territories of the Kursk Region, putting to flight units of Ukrainian military formations. In the course of combat engagements, the guards fighters perform comprehensive fire attacks to eliminate Ukrainian militants in the settlement of Gornal and the Kursk Region’s other border areas. The Marines are successfully forcing enemy units from key fortified positions in the area of the settlement," it said.

The ministry also released a video of the operations.
