MOSCOW, December 28. /TASS/. Russian Su-35S fighter jets provided cover for bombers and attack aircraft hammering Ukrainian manpower and military hardware in the borderline Kursk Region, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Saturday.
"Crews of Su-35S multirole supermaneuverable thrust-vectoring fighter jets provided air support for crews of the Aerospace Forces over the border areas of the Kursk Region," the statement reads.
"In accomplishing combat missions, the Su-35S fighters practiced aerial cover in the designated area for sorties by bombers and attack aircraft and army aviation helicopters in delivering air strikes at Ukrainian armor and manpower," the statement added.
