Ukraine loses over 250 servicemen over past day in Kursk Region, another surrenders as POW

Russia's army continues to defeat Ukrainian formations in the Kursk Region

MOSCOW, December 28. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army suffered losses of more than 250 servicemen in the Kursk Region over the past 24 hours, and one soldier surrendered as a prisoner of war, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Over the day, Kiev’s losses amounted to more than 250 servicemen, an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored fighting vehicle, six automobiles, and five mortars. One Ukrainian serviceman surrendered as a prisoner of war," the Defense Ministry stated.

Russia's army continues to defeat Ukrainian formations in the Kursk Region. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, units of the Battlegroup North defeated the formations of four mechanized brigades, a heavy mechanized brigade, a tank brigade, three airborne assault brigades, a marine brigade and four territorial defense brigades near the settlements of Alexandriya, Viktorovka, Daryino, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Leonidovka, Martynovka, Nizhny Klin, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Nikolsky, Novoivanovka, Plekhovo and Sverdlikovo.

In addition, operational-tactical aircraft strikes and artillery fire hit enemy personnel and equipment near Ivashkovsky, 1st Knyazhy, Kruglenkoye, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Leonidovo, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Makhnovka, Nizhny Klin, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Nikolsky, Novoivanovka, Novaya Sorochina, Plekhovo, Sverdlikovo, Cherkasskoye Porechnoye, as well as Basovka, Belovody, Vorozhba, Zhuravka, Malaya Rybitsa and Pavlovka in the Sumy Region.
