Air defenses shoot down four missiles over Zaporozhye Region, governor says

MELITOPOL, December 18. /TASS/. Air defenses have downed four missiles over the Zaporozhye Region, Governor Yevgeny Balitsky said.

"I have just spoken with emergency officials: the Ukrainian armed forces attempted to launch a missile at the city of Berdyansk and three more at Tokmak. All four projectiles, which are believed to be Storm Shadow missiles, were shot down. The fragments of one of the missiles fell into the Sea of Azov near Berdyansk, while the fragments of others fell in a field west of Tokmak," the regional governor wrote on Telegram.

The incident caused no casualties or damage.
