Only threat of retribution can prevent Kiev from using 'dirty bomb' — official

As Vladimir Rogov said, the West is taking any liberty it wants in encouraging Vladimir Zelensky’s regime to take any, absolutely crazy actions

MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. A possible scenario where Ukraine uses a "dirty bomb" is close to materializing and only the threat of retribution can stop it, the leader of the movement We are together with Russia, Vladimir Rogov, has said.

"I would estimate the probability of a dirty bomb being used as much higher than average. It is close to being realized," he told TASS on Tuesday.

Rogov believes that it can be prevented only if "a clear message" is driven home: those who may use the bomb will face "fatal" retribution.

"This is the sole means of stopping such types. Everything else: exhortations, persuasion and negotiations unfortunately will not lead to anything. The West is taking any liberty it wants in encouraging [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky’s regime to take any, absolutely crazy actions," he added.

Earlier, the head of Russia’s radiation, chemical and biological protection force, Igor Kirillov, said that the Kiev regime could disguise the detonation of a "dirty bomb" as the result of a malfunction of one of Russia’s low-yield nuclear weapons.
