Russia’s international reserves are highly liquid foreign assets available with the Bank of Russia and the Russian Government

MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. Russia's international reserves, amounted to $632.4 billion as of February 28, 2025, having reduced by $2.2 bln in a week, the Bank of Russia reported.

"International reserves as of the close of business on February 28, 2025 stood at $632.4 bln, having decreased over the week by $2.2 bln or by 0.3%, predominantly as a result of negative revaluation," the regulator informed.

As of February 21, the volume of reserves was $634.6 billion, according to the regulator's data.

Russia’s international reserves are highly liquid foreign assets available with the Bank of Russia and the Russian Government. They comprise foreign currency, Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), a reserve position in the International Monetary Fund and monetary gold.
