NEW DELHI, November 12. /TASS/. The Russian Business Council for Cooperation with India and the Synergy Corporation have opened a joint representative office the Indian capital of New Delhi.
As a TASS correspondent reported, the opening of the new business center was attended by Minister of the Moscow government, head of the department of foreign economic and international relations of Moscow, head of the Business Council for Cooperation with India Sergey Cheremin, as well as representatives of the Russian and Indian business communities, the diplomatic corps and public organizations.
"The presence of almost 500 companies at the Russian-Indian business forum held in Mumbai on Monday showed the demand for such a center," Cheremin said in a conversation with TASS.
"Small and medium-sized enterprises need consulting services, information support and logistics support. The legislation of countries and customs regulations are changing, many [enterprises] need assistance in registering enterprises, finding partners, promising investment areas," he noted.
According to Cheremin, "this multifunctional site will become a kind of exhibition pavilion for Russian companies."
"Here, the best Russian manufacturers will be able to show samples of their products and present their own innovative technologies. In addition, the center will provide a full range of services for promoting Russian products on the Indian market, providing consulting services for Russian companies, support in recruiting and training personnel," he added.
The pavilion's infrastructure includes new workspaces for holding business events, including business missions, presentations, meetings, round tables and conferences.
"I am confident that many mutually beneficial Russian-Indian contracts will be signed within the walls of the business center," Cheremin said.
The head of the Business Council for Cooperation with India also announced that "the international recruiting agency Synergy will provide a full range of services to Russian companies in the search, selection, arrival, training and adaptation of Indian specialists in Russian companies."
The service for the selection of labor in India will be deployed in all key states of India, language and cultural training of personnel will be provided. It is planned to open courses in Russian as a foreign language. "In the near future, the courses will allow potential employers and employees to adapt to the conditions of life and work in Russia, national peculiarities, and will also help to establish, develop and strengthen intercultural interaction," Vice President of the Synergy corporation, Alikhan Khashiyev, noted.
