As of 8:33 a.m. Moscow time (05:33 a.m. GMT), the gold price was up by 0.09% compared with the previous closing at $2,107.1 per troy ounce.

By 8:55 a.m. Moscow time (05:55 a.m. GMT), the price of gold had extended gains to 0.11% trading at $2,107.7 per troy ounce.

The gold price was $2,105.3 per troy ounce as trading closed on December 3.
