Russian, German foreign minister discuss Nord Stream-2 project

The parties also discussed political regulation of the Syrian conflict, as well as the crisis in Ukraine

MOSCOW, February 15. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his German colleague Heiko Maas have discussed the issues of constructing the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry informed.

"They have discussed the current issues on the bilateral agenda, touching upon various aspects of constructing the Nord Stream 2 pipeline," the ministry informed.

The parties also discussed political regulation of the Syrian conflict in the context of the recent Astana format summit in Sochi, as well as the crisis in Ukraine.
