MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/. Ukraine has lost some 31,000 troops since February 2022, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said.
"Thirty one thousand Ukrainian soldiers have dies," he told a news conference, adding that he cannot say how many soldiers have been wounded or are missing.
Ukraine’s authorities prefer not to speak about the country’s losses, but the Western media put them at up to hundreds of thousands. Thus, Douglas Macgregor, Col. (ret.), the former advisor to the Secretary of Defense in the Trump administration, said in an interview with the Jeremy Ryan Slate YouTube channel that Ukraine’s losses stood at from 300,000 to 350,000 troops.
