MINSK, November 30. /TASS/. Minsk will continue to take joint measures with Moscow to avert threats to their Union State, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said on Wednesday.

"Yes, we first of all rely on our own resources. However, we understand that if help is needed, we have a reliable ally. Therefore, we will continue to take joint measures to prevent military threats to the Union State. At the same time, I want to remind you of the words of the Commander-in-Chief [of the Armed Forces of Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko]: ‘We will go to battle, fight and die on our land'," he said in an interview with the SB.
