The governor of the Primorsky Region, Oleg Kozhemyako, has contacted the military prosecutor's office in connection with reports over the Marines brigade’s rumored losses. He said that in the context of information warfare any publications on social networks required verification, and expressed the certainty that in any case a proper analysis of this situation would be carried out and the competent authorities would make their assessment.

Earlier, an alleged appeal from the brigade’s servicemen to the head of the Primorsky Region was circulated via messengers and on social networks. The post mentioned heavy losses in manpower and material reportedly sustained during an offensive towards Pavlovka during the special military operation.
