MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said plan to discuss a range of issues related to bilateral ties focusing on an increase in volumes and diversification of mutual trade at the upcoming talks, according to files released by the Kremlin.
"At the upcoming talks the heads of states plan to discuss the whole range of issues of bilateral ties focusing on an increase in volumes and diversification of mutual trade, the implementation of promising projects in energy, transport and logistics, high-tech solutions, pharmaceuticals," the Kremlin said.
In 2024, trade turnover between the countries amounted to $314 mln, according to files. The highest growth of export from Russia was demonstrated by grain: wheat and meslin - by 52% ($130 mln), barley – by 6.7 times ($21 mln).
