Cache with shells, ammunition, infantry flamethrowers discovered in LPR

All items were disposed of in accordance with the established procedure

LUGANSK, February 7. /TASS/. Police officers near the village of Rodakovo in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) have discovered a cache of weapons and ammunition, including 200 shells of various calibers, over 2,500 rounds of ammunition for automatic rifles, MLRS shells and infantry flamethrowers.

Officers from the Slavyanoserbsky police department, together with colleagues from the combined police unit of Russia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs in the LPR found an arsenal of weapons and ammunition on an open plot of land near Rodakovo," the LPR Interior Ministry said in a news release.

The cache contained 619 fuses, 9M114 and C8 rockets, 39 132 mm shells, ten PG-7V rounds, a 240 mm shell, 140 152-mm and seven 120-mm shells, as well as three MLRS Uragan rockets. In addition, one 82-mm and twelve 120-mm mortar shells, more than 2,500 5.45 and 7.62-mm cartridges, two 30-mm cartridges and two infantry grenade launchers were seized.

All items were disposed of in accordance with the established procedure, the press service added.
