GENICHESK, February 6. /TASS/. Russian forces obliterated a Ukrainian ammunition depot near the village of Stepanovka in the Kherson Region, the regional emergencies services told TASS on Monday.

"At night, artillery fire eliminated a Ukrainian army brigade’s ammunition depot near the settlement of Stepanovka. Ammunition for 155mm M777 howitzers, 2A65 Msta-B howitzers and 122mm D-30 howitzers was wiped out. Also, five motor vehicles were destroyed. The Ukrainian military lost eight soldiers killed while nine others suffered wounds of various severity," the emergencies services said.
