Leader of Central African Republic tells Putin he intends to attend Russia-Africa summit

The two presidents also agreed to foster cooperation to bolster the Central African Republic’s sovereignty, security, and stability

MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. President of the Central African Republic Faustin-Archange Touadera told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that he is planning to take part in a Russia-Africa summit to be held in St. Petersburg next summer, the Kremlin press service said following talks between the two leaders on Friday.

"Faustin-Archange Touadera expressed his gratitude for the multifaceted assistance Russia has provided to his country and confirmed his intention to attend the second Russia-Africa summit scheduled to take place in St. Petersburg in summer 2023," the Kremlin press service said in a statement.

The two presidents also agreed to foster cooperation to bolster the Central African Republic’s sovereignty, security, and stability.
