Direct rail service restarts between Moscow, Almaty

Railcars in the direct service will depart from Almaty since October 26 and from Moscow since October 30

MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. The direct railway service will resume on Sunday between Moscow and Almaty after its suspension in 2017, Russian Railways said.

The direct railway service between the two cities restarts by agreement with Kazakh Railways, the Russian railway operator said. Railcars in the direct service will depart from Almaty since October 26 and from Moscow since October 30. The time en route will be about three days and a half.
