Train service resumes in Voronezh Region after attack by Ukrainian drones

VORONEZH, December 28. /TASS/. Train service between Pukhovo and Yevdakovo in Russia’s Voronezh Region, which was suspended after an attack by Ukrainian drones, has resumed, Governor Alexander Gusev said on his Telegram channel.

"The movement of trains between Pukhovo and Yevdakovo has resumed. Operative services continue working on the site," he wrote.

Gusev said earlier that the UAV wreckage had broken down the railway catenary system in one of the districts of the Voronezh Region, with trains delayed until elimination of the consequences. "All in all, air defense and electronic warfare assets on duty detected and destroyed 28 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the Voronezh Region overnight. According to preliminary information, no one was hurt," the governor noted.
