It is noted that the state tech corporation continues delivering military hardware needed in the zone of the special military operation in Ukraine

MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. High-Precision Systems Holding Company (part of the state tech corporation Rostec) has delivered the first batch of advanced BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) to Russian troops this year, the company’s press office reported on Friday.

"High-Precision Systems Holding Company within the state corporation Rostec has sent the first batch of BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles under the 2023 defense procurement plan. In addition to the BMP-3s, airborne BTR-MDM vehicles and military hardware are set to be delivered to the Defense Ministry of Russia after major repairs this year," the statement reads.

The BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles produced by the Kurganmashzavod defense manufacturer (part of High-Precision Systems) feature the Sodema gunner-operator’s main sight and armor lattice and screens as extra protection.

The state tech corporation continues delivering military hardware needed in the zone of the special military operation in Ukraine, Rostec Armaments Cluster Industrial Director Bekkhan Ozdoyev stressed.

"The Kurgan machine-builders have both successfully fulfilled the 2022 defense procurement plan and begun the first deliveries under contracts for this year. In particular, the first batch of BMP-3s has been sent to the troops and throughout the year the customer will also receive upgraded BTR-MDM Rakushka multipurpose airborne armored personnel carriers. In addition, the Defense Ministry will get BREM-L armored repair and recovery vehicles," he said.

Kurganmashzavod has been operating in special mode since 2022 and some of its production units are rolling out output round the clock.
