MOSCOW, May 10. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Armed Forces have set up strongholds and ammo depots in three more schools in the Kiev-controlled areas, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on Tuesday.
"In Slobozhanskoye, Kharkov region, a stronghold has been equipped by nationalists in the building of Lyceum No. 1. Tanks and armored vehicles were deployed on its premises, mines were planted on driveways to the lyceum, but locals had not been notified intentionally," Mizintsev said.
According to the general, another stronghold was set up in a school in Mogilev-Podolsky, Vinnitsa region, which nationalists and foreign mercenaries turned into a warehouse for military equipment and weapons. They are forcibly holding civilians from nearby residential buildings in the basement of the building.
In Lisichansk, Lugansk region, the Ukrainian troops forced women, children and the elderly out of the bomb shelter in School No. 5, threatening them with physical harm, and then turned it into an ammo depot.
