MOSCOW, April 13 (Itar-Tass) —— Twenty out of 35 houses burnt down in Onon-Baza settlement in TransBaikalia on the border with Mongolia overnight, but there were no casualties, the emergency ministry said adding the fire has been localized.

The emergency situation in the settlement with 85 residents was caused by steppe fire and strong wind. Sixty-five elderly residents, women and children were evacuated while men remained to fight the fire, the ministry said adding a Bee-200 plane was sent to help extinguish the blaze. One evacuated woman had her leg broken.
