Israeli air force attacks targets in Lebanon on border with Syria

Among other targets, a base of Shiite militants in the Yanta mountains was hit

BEIRUT, March 4. /TASS/. Israeli warplanes have carried out strikes on ground targets in eastern Lebanon near the border with Syria, the Lebanon 24 news portal reported.

According to the portal, the planes launched projectiles at purported underground shelters and arms depots belonging to the Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah organization.

Among other targets, a base of Shiite militants in the Yanta mountains was hit. No details have been provided on the aftermath of the attack.
