900 mln people use Telegram monthly — co-founder

MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. The number of Telegram monthly users amounts to 900 mln and a half of this number open it on a daily basis, co-founder of the social network Pavel Durov said.

The app is the sixth most used and the ninth most downloaded globally, he noted, citing data of DataAI company.

"Telegram reached 900 million monthly users. Half of these 900 million users open Telegram daily," Durov said.

Telegram had the positive cash flow in the 1st quarter of 2024, he noted. The social network "is on track to become profitable this year," Durov added.
