NEW YORK, December 1. /TASS/. Israel and the radical Palestinian movement Hamas negotiated an extension of the humanitarian truce for the eighth day, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing Egyptian officials.

Ten more hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip will be released as part of the truce, mainly women and children.

The humanitarian ceasefire was initially concluded for four days from November 24 and was extended later by two days, and one more day.
