MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Russia’s legendary five-time Olympic Champion in synchronized swimming Natalia Ishchenko has announced her retirement from sports, her Coach Tatiana Danchenko told TASS on Wednesday.

"As far as I know she decided to warp up her career," Danchenko said in an interview with TASS.

Besides carrying an impressive load of five Olympic golds, 30-year-old Ishchenko is also the 19-time World Champion and 12-time European Champion.

She was also the first athlete in the European history to win all four different competitions in synchronized swimming.
