PARIS, November 15. /TASS/. Fans clashed on the stands of the Stade de France stadium in Paris during the first half of the France vs Israel football match of UEFA Nations League, the L'Equipe newspaper wrote.

According to the report, the brawl began around 20 minutes into the game and involved dozens of fans. Some of them were waving Israeli flags. Stewards had to intervene to restore order.

The match was attended by French President Emmanuel Macron. Prior to the event, leftist politicians and activists staged a protest at a square in Paris’ northern suburb of Saint-Denis.

On the night of November 8, at least 10 Israelis were injured in an attack by Palestinian supporters in Amsterdam, according to Israel's Ynet news website. The incident occurred outside the stadium following the UEFA Europa League match between the local Ajax football club and Maccabi Tel Aviv (5-0). At least five fans were stabbed, and some were struck by a passing car.
